Video to DVD Transfer

This service is for clients who have video tapes they would like transferred to DVD, e.g. wedding, christening, family event, etc etc.

 

You should aim to supply us with the best quality original you have so that the DVD can be as near as possible to best quality.  We MAY be able to restore e.g. lip-sync if this has drifted, and at least partially correct for small errors, e.g. video too dark or audio distorted or too quiet, but this cannot be guaranteed.  We are also able to remove video “noise” (picture interference).  If extensive “repair” work is needed this will be chargeable at our normal hourly rate.

 

Our price includes ONE copy of the finished work on DVD.  Additional copies can be supplied at a special discount price - ask for details.

 

We supply the finished DVD with a specially-printed, simple label and case insert.  If you have a specific wish for what is to be included on the label or insert you should include the art-work with your order; where we need to carry out extensive print preparation work this MAY be chargeable.

You will almost certainly find we are NOT the cheapest facility offering this service; the reason is simple.  Most others simply COPY your tape to DVD without any checking of the quality; we check the quality of the digital file BEFORE transcribing it to DVD, print a simple on-disc label and inlay booklet, place the DVD in a standard library case, perform a quick check of the finished DVD, ALL FOR THE  ONE PRICE.

 

Update: We now have the facilities to transfer VHS, VHS-C, 8mm, Hi-8, DV and Digital 8 videos to DVD.  So we are able to handle all the most commonly-used types of consumer video tapes.
